Traveling to Oaxaca

We left Puerto Morelos at the end of November after four months, behind we left new friends and a great beach town.  Once again, we prepared for the travel getting travel documents ready for Nikki our dog and packed up all our belongings.  This time we traveled via Interjet another airline which I must admit was better than traveling via Volaris.  We were hoping for a direct flight but ended up with a short layover in Ciudad De Mexico, the flight was far more comfortable and shorter.

Flying from Mexico City to Oaxaca you get to see snow capped mountains as well as volcanos.  The flight is only about 40 minutes, so I would suggest not breaking out your laptop if you hope to get much of anything done.

When we arrived at the Oaxaca airport the difference was instant, the air was crisper and did not have the scent of being near the waters of the Caribbean.  The people as like in most places in Mexico are helpful and wanting to ensure that we were well informed of all the celebrations associated with the time of year being that Christmas or Navidad was right around the corner.  Transportation from the airport was not difficult as there are Taxi’s just outside the airport to take you to wherever your accommodations are located.

Let’s see what Oaxaca will share with us and we will share with you.
